There are times we want to remain silent and think to ourselves that should be fixed up or that's not up to us to fix up. Even there are times that we say to ourselves, these things, no matter how small they are will not be looked at by the relevant authorities.
Wrong, leaving it behind or for someone else to do, doesn't get the job done or looked at. That is the attitude of most of us unless you have faith in the system and realise they are ordinary people like you, who may want the same changes as you do.
So coming to the heat of it - the real issue here is taking pictures and providing proof in what is needed to be done. Here, below in the corner of Luxford Road and Kelly Close, there is a man-made footpath that shows a bit of soil erosion, made by us people. It is the missing link to link the entire footpath around Westfield Mount Druitt hub.
I do suggest, especially with a Blacktown Council Election coming on 10th September, that this could be looked into and walking can be made easier for pedestrians, once the pathway/footpath is completed. I understand there is a pathway on the eastern side but obviously a pathway is desirably required to make it easier for every one to walk and get to places. We don't want people walking on roads, especially when there should be a catered footpath/pathway (beside a Police Station).
The suggestion to Blacktown City Council Officers and Councilors is to have the pathway/ footpath lead up past Buran Close, reaching the end of Kelly Close (South) reaching Mount Druitt Town Square.

This is a good one. Let's bump this up guys. We need this done definitely.
I doubt that Westfield is oblivious to this dramatically eroded pathway. I am curious as to their protracted negligence in repairing such a precarious track. An explanation would be illuminating - and overdue.
