Druitt. What an enormous effort and money is directed to vehicle
parking spaces. Be it in the North side or the Southern side. For every
space that is provided , another ten new spaces seem to be required ,
Clashes between commuters and shoppers , medical patients to. It seems
to be a bottomless money pit.
With Mount Druitt now in the process of doubling its population. Parking provisions will explode beyond all else. The design of the area was never designed to cater for this. Our urgency is for fast tracking all forms of public transport now, to which will always prove to be the most cost effective as well.
My head boggles at all governments past, present and about to be. All have repeated to sweep this issue under the table. On at election time do they mouth off promises that appear to be quickly forgotten after the election. Please keep this in mind this week end when placing your votes.
