When I've been to Blacktown or Parramatta Hoyts, you pay for your tickets and then are choosing seats while making a booking ( that are left available). So, as the old saying goes, 'First come, first serves'!
The difference is when you purchase a movie ticket at Hoyts, Mount Druitt, you get issued tickets but there is no allocation of seats. The allocation of seats is when you enter the cinema about 5 minutes before the start of the promo's and advertising and you can choose what seats we want.
That means for the ones that like to come in late, you may not sit at your favourite spots you would like to chose! So the earlier the better! Isn't that so great? The first ones in get the 'prime seats'.
I felt sorry for Hoyts Mount Druitt yesterday, as they claim there was a small electrical fire and prevented all customers to see what movies were in what cinema on the TV monitor. They were prepared to hand out A4 sheets on what was on yesterday.
