The NSW Liberals and Premier Mike Baird has announced something that is not just needed in Mount Mount and surrounding suburbs but in all of the Greater Western Sydney, Bungarribee Super Park. I understand it will be a modernised Centennial Park of the west, where people and families can come and relax, play and a 4km cycled will be built for cycle enthusiasts.
It won't be far from 'Wet and Wild' and my only question is when this happens, will there be ongoing bus services to and from Blacktown and Mount Druitt?

DESIGNS for the 200 hectare Bungarribee Super Park have today been unveiled by NSW Premier Mike Baird.
The premier was on hand at Western Sydney Parklands to launch the $15 million project alongside Environment Minister Rob Stokes. The park off Doonside Rd is the largest expansion of recreational facilities in Western Sydney since the construction of Bicentennial Park at Homebush.
Mr Baird said the project, due for completion by 2018, would provide Western Sydney residents urban parklands to rival the world’s best.
“It will be a place for locals to relax, explore and picnic in the great outdoors and for international tourists to experience the wonders of Australia’s bush in a unique urban setting,” he said.
Bungarribee Super Park will include 15,000 trees, four kilometres of bike and walking paths with bridges and lookouts, multiple playgrounds, cafes, an events space, 400 parking spaces, and a gum tree forest.
The Bungarribee Super Park is in the northern section of the Western Sydney Parklands.
Mr Stokes said: “The communities of Western Sydney should not have to travel to enjoy world class recreation facilities and this park will cut the need for them to commute to other parts of Sydney to enjoy the great outdoors.’’
