R.A.A.F Memorial Park - Needs Urgent Attention on Ants (Possible Termite Mounds)

It seems a mound of ants - (possibly termites) are consuming a natural Australian tree at R.A.A.F Memorial Park, Mount Druitt. Although, mother nature is taking things in her own hands, happening naturally, it is exttemely worrying to know that this could spread out to our wider residential houses around the area.

We all understand how termites can eat into timber, make it rotten and destroy it. If a house is declared unsafe because of its termites infested termites it may present a situation where the entire house may have to be replaced, after treatment.

That presents a headache to its owner whether it be privately owned or by NSW Housing and even land owned currently with Council

I personally hope Blacktown City Council can intervene and rid these ants mounds especially if they termintes. I noticed Ron a Face Book member of 'whyilovemountdruitt' privides us the following photos:

You will notice another mound of possible termites but not around a tree. I'm just thinking, could these ants attack tree after tree at the R.A.A.F. Memorial Park and there was none?
