Street Light Changed With Use OF Cherry Picker But Increased Traffic Safety Required

Here is a video changing Street lights in the corner of  Earl and Methven Streets, Mount Druitt, using a Cherry Picker and 2 workmen.

Image result for stop/slow down sign man
The only issue I have here is that they parked on the round about in the corner of Earl and  Methven Streets, Mount Druitt. This could have caused a fatal accident, if drivers on the road  were not aware of it. Only one worker was  trafficking vehicles, yet there was a lack of  men holding Stop/Go signs from each end of each street, to slow down/ stop traffic or even warning signs that truck was on the round about island, whilst the street light was getting changed. Especially when the sun was setting and  rivers could have ben blinded by the sun. Also shiny load

Maybe stake holders can look at this for future health and safety  of drivers  with vehicles, so that there is no potential risk of fatalities, if accidents happen Discussions should be make with stakes holders, to discuss with energy company ways of  providing  better safety methods of  engaging traffic around the truck parked on the round about island.
