Library members aged 12+ can borrow a library chess set for 90 minutes and play with friends within the library. Limited sets are available. Use your library card at the service desk on the ground floor to borrow a chess set.

Baby Rhyme Time at Blacktown City Libraries

Develop your baby’s language skills for FREE with the Baby Rhyme Time Program. Have fun singing, clapping and dancing with other parents and babies. Weekly sessions are available for parents and babies (0-2 years) during the school term.

Create. Code. Tell stories: a Google CS First Program. Create and share your own digital stories! Use the computer to design your stories, create and share your own animations and learn how technology is used in the film and media industry. No previous computer experience is necessary. Open to ages 12-18. 18-24 year olds can register as a Coding Club mentor and learn the basics of coding while helping younger participants.
