A Mount Druitt Youth's Good Deed To A Community Member At Mount Druitt Hospital - 2770 Watch Without Childish Admin Face Book Group!

Will the local press print this? I don't know but they should. They do like printing good stories, but obviously of their Editor have their own choice of good stories and then hopefully more good stories will flood into Radio/Television Media. This is what we need in Mount Druitt!
So this real life good Samaritan story of a Mount Druitt youth assisting a lady at Mount Druitt hospital yesterday is the real good story that we promote in our area. Here it is from 2770 Watch Without Childish Admin Face Book:
Sera Mckenna-Carroll
I just want to shout out a huge thank you to the young lad 'Josh' at mt druitt hospital emergency last night.... all of about 14,15yo, obviously streetwise, this young lad was kickin around with a cpl of girls waiting for his mum. It was after 11pm, raining, I had just been discharged with severed toe & 6stitches and was taking me 5mins to walk barely 10 steps. (yes I was stubborn & drove myself, not realising my reasonably close carpark was actually going to take 25mins at least hobbling back, aaand also declining crutches.... its very easy to feel tough when there is so much adrenaline then local anaesthetic you cant feel a thing!) by the time I left a whole other level of pain hit and I was struggling to even stand.
This young lad asked if I was ok then dashed off & got a wheelchair so I could sit for a min. I thanked him then he asked if I needed some water.... the lovely kid must not have even asked the desk, because he bought me a bottle from the vending machine! we chatted for a few mins and when I went to get up he said 'I will take you to your car, stuff em , I'm bringing the chair straight back anyway' smile emoticon
kid wheeled me all the way down and I hugged him, said thank you for being such a wonderful thoughtful kid. He says 'no worries, poor thing ya cant walk...but could I please ask if you have a spare smoke?'
little champ, I gave him my last 2 wink emoticon

Sarah Hewes I think you ppl complaining about the smokes are totally missing the point here - it's a nice positive story about the youth of our area for a change and all you can focus on is he was given smokes - ffs his gonna smoke anyway , even if he picked them up of the ground and smoked the butts , I'm surprised you same nay Sayers aren't complaining about him being out so late

Felice Dumpleton Easy for people to judge when they're not in the situation, if a 15 year old walked up to me in the street and asked for a smoke I'd say hell no, but after such a gorgeous act of kindness how could you look him in the face and say no? I don't think I could. I would be just so appreciative to the boy.
