Funds raised through this event will continue the growth of St Vincent de Paul's programs and services providing emergency relief, financial assistance and services addressing social isolation, as well as programs to assist those experiencing disadvantage through support, advocacy and referral.
We invite you to join us for this very special event and help to end disadvantage in Western Sydney.
The night will be an experimental, no frills affair. Participants will be given no more than a beanie, a sheet of cardboard and a cup of soup before sleeping out on the grass at the university’s campus.
The night will give participants a small taste of what it is like to experience disadvantage in Western Sydney.
This combination of fundraising and awareness will allow Vinnies Western Sydney to prevent homelessness from happening in the first place for so many people affected by disadvantage in our local community.
