Blacktown City Council 2017-18 Budget At A Glance (Part 2)

When you see the following statistics on what amount of each service is provided for n estimated population of  $350,000 and then you consider this is done  with a staff of over 2,000, you will know how our very own local Council is a strong government  business.

 Most people who pay council rates think they have an understanding that the main expenses Council has is  garbage removal and  maintaining streets and footpath. There are service beyond that that are under their own care.

What I found interest was the  general interest of the community has risen to over 200 people that are interested in what our local government spend our money our and how the revenue is collected: like all government. Personally, I can see in the near future that Blacktown City Council budget may reach the $1B mark one day. That would be amazing.
