So the NSW Government's Transport Minister has just placed a permanent delay on IPART's Public Transport Fares Review from 31st March 2016 to 12th May 2016.
He says it is to consider the draft issued 21st December 2016. I think it is they have been inundated with so much feed back from all the NSW communities that don't want fares to go up. That could be a possible headache for them!
Does that mean they extend the date for feedback from the community? Probably not. Does that mean that they will delay the possible fare increases? Probably Not. Does that mean that public transport fares will go up? Who knows?
