Quiet Improvement Required By Mount Druitt Community Member In Libray!

As you know, I meet different people every day and they are all great people with individual characteristics that add to Mount Druitt as a great place to live in.

Image result for mount druitt libraryDupree a recent resident of Mount Druitt, is completing her law degree for the next 2 years in Sydney and  was questioned by others, why her and her husband moved to Mount Druitt? She has since discovered it is the most affordable place to rent and or buy property within Sydney. Most people do that when they come to Mount Druitt how affordable it is to live compared to the rest of Sydney, even myself over 25 years ago.

She used to go to the Mount Druitt hub library to study, but since she has found it to be the noisiest she has known around the world, she studies quietly elsewhere. Dupree noted that the library currently serves as a good place to study, if not. She finds when the school students are studying at the same time as her, they are talking aloud in open spaces. This is disturbing to others wanting to quietly study and librarian staff are also busy doing other work!

I suggested that the Blacktown City Council  implement a new policy where a PA system could be installed, so hat Librarians can make quiet announcements of  being 'Quiet' to the general public that talk and disturb. Dupree thought that was a great idea and supported this idea immediately. If Council implements this, then she might return back to the Mount Druitt library!
