Sydney Trains Still Not Supplying Airconditioned Trains - 2 Days In A Row

Dwayne from Mount Druitt a regular  Sydney Trains commuter, complained to myself of 2 days in a row of un-airconditioned train carriages, along the Western Lin, traveling from 4pm from the City to Penrith.

It is strange that he has done this, yet he knows I am a former public transport advocate and now an advocate for general community improvements. That is why he  approached myself and wanted the community to be aware of these issues.  Dwayne also showed myself a message sent by twitter to Sydney Trains and their non-response from yesterday.

The only way Western Sydney commuters get air-conditioned carriages is by opening the top windows and letting the  hot air in. Now we are paying increased fares and not free weekend services. We in Mount Druitt and western Sydney require more properly air-conditioned trains or our fares or we should be compensated by reduced fares, if this happens.

We request our State Member of Mount Druitt, Hon. Edmond Atalla, to place our case forward, for better quality trains services and conditions, especially before the hot summer season commences.
