Good For The Community Environment - Additinal Pick Up Service With Delivery Service - Bing Lee Mount Druitt

From a community member from Mount Druitt, a new and great service is being organised by fairly new store, Bing Lee in Mount Druitt.

These may not be important to the individual customer  but they have widening positive results for the  consumer and  the  wider community and will make stake holders like Blacktown City Council, very happy as the community looks less as a dumping ground.

So, what is it? If you are purchasing a replacement washing machine,they are offering for the next month or two a free pick up of your washing machine, when delivering your new  replacement one. Now you can understand what the benefits are: as a consumer we are not dumping washing machines on  street kerbside and our streets community is looking more cleaner, friendlier and..... there is a reduced cost, not off-loaded to Blacktown City Council - which I believe can run into thousands of dollars.


I do suggest that Blacktown City Council meet with Bing Lee and other same type of businesses, to see if they can extend this service to their  customers, indeffinately.

It doesn't mention it in their service delivery  directions (below) but they advise what ever package is delivered they also remove all the package material and  recycle it. Another great job. So that is what they will do with the old washing machine.

Consider these options when you are purchasing washing machines. Unsure if this  explained to fridges, freezers and other electrical appliances - just go and ask them at Mount Druitt.
