The Labor party has polled  with 17,036 votes, 62.88% with a commanding majority in Ward 4, Blacktown City Council with Liberals way behind with  6,523 on 24.08% of the total and combined Independents with 3,260 of the votes and 12.03% of the total votes.

Compared to 2012 election Labor went up by 13.78%, Liberals went down by 14.12% - and Independents went  down by 0.67%. That was due to two new groups of Independents and one ungrouped Independent running for Ward 4.

Shockingly  informal has doubled  from 8.3%  2012 to a high 16.14% (5,215). This is probably where Independents that ran at this election should focus on to gain the  extra votes to elect one in Council next time.

Here are the summary results from NSW Electoral Commission for Ward 4, Blacktown City Council:
So Elected will be Mayor, Stephen Bali (Labor),  Carol Israel (Labor) and a highly likely chance that Linda Santos (Liberal) will be elected as well.
