Pedestrian Crossing East of Luxford Road, Mount Druitt (Entrance to Westfield) Go Ahead With Council!

Another improvement that has been approved by Blacktown City Council (They can see the Community Health  & Safety Issues that are occurring), for recommendation To Westfield Mount Druitt and  NSW Roads and Maritime Services for consideration.

So again, where the community have been afraid to raise their voice (without assistance from a Local Councilors), using visual pictures,  publishing  blogs on the world wide web, e-mails to General Manager of Blacktown City Council and also the  the general e-mail of  Blacktown City Council. Another great result for the community, from the Senior Transport Officer of Blacktown City Council's response:

Dear  John,

I have referred your request for the pedestrian crossing at the traffic lights on Luxford Road and entry to Westfield Mount Druitt to Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) for consideration as provision of a pedestrian crossing at traffic lights needs RMS investigation and approval.
Further information will be forwarded to you once the matter is considered by RMS.

I hope this information is of assistance to you.

Should you require any further on the matter please do not hesitate to contact me.

Regards

Editors Notes:
I have met the Senior Transport Officer of Blacktown City Council  and I know  that what he says is a genuine decision! Although I was contact by the 'STO', I rang back missed him and spoke to his colleagues and they forwarded on any details to him.
