I have received a letter from Blacktown City Council Sport and Contracts Supervisor, in relation to pick up of litter and rubbish at William Mason Reserve, Mount Druitt:
Reserve 468, William Mason Reserve is classified under Council's Open Space Strategy as a 'B' and as such is serviced every 20 working days in the summer growth high season (October to May) and every forty days in the winter low season (June to September). This does not include wet days and public holidays.
All litter and rubbish is scheduled to be picked up on each service; however this site does receive an additional weekly litter pick up.

This is a reasonably good service provided from Blacktown City Council, we know each time Council cleans up public areas it costs money. We need Council to teach the community to not leave rubbish behind at public venues!
This blogspot is created to try and get a great atmosphere of what Mount Druitt is all about. Also to provide photographic details of improvements in the area. We encourage all community members to add comments. Stories from community members, thoughts and comments. Send any information you would like, to advertise that you love of Mount Druitt, that is for the common good of all who live or visit the area. Become an author and publish blogs..
