Storm Havoc In Mount Druitt - Torn Shade Sails in Westfield, Mount Druitt!

Last night there was torrential rain that struck Mount Druitt and caused blackouts. Mount Druitt is not accustomed to many torrential rains, but last night traffic was stopped at the corner of Woodstock Road and Carlisle as drains were flooded, preventing car to traverse across roads.

Although , there was a local advocacy for Shade Cloths/sails to be cleaned and  properly maintained, then what happened last night might not have happened.  Click here for previous blog .

Now you will see two night pictures showing you torn shade cloths, that have not been removed by Westfield Mount Druitt Management entirely, cars could have accidents. It takes a community website like ours to reach out to the local authorities and  get these things fixed up. If only Westfield Mount Druitt had listened!
