Community members who are constantly travelling on buses within the area have difficulty in accessing bus stops in the area.
We suggest Council Offers and all Ward 5 Blacktown Councillors inspect the bus stop access corner of Gasmatta Crescent (south) and Luxford Roads Whalan.
Mount Druitt Commuters Improvement Group Inc. has been lobbying in the past couple of years for an improved bus service that travels all along Gasmatta Crescent but at the same time, The current bus stop supplied to community via decisions made by Blacktown Council Officers and other public transport stake holders, have not provided a solution to the problem.
The problem is get rid of the overpass, fill in both sides of the footpath to even it out matching the level of Luxford Road. Expensive costs, possibly but totally neglected by public transport stake holders. An immediate inspection needs to be conducted with a positive result for the community.
We will refer to Council for recommendation.
