Lifeline For Lifeline 1st November

Since our phones started ringing in 1963, Lifeline has been dedicated to offering support to anyone who needs it, whenever they need it. Tragically, each day we lose eight Australians to suicide –  for us, and I am sure you would agree, that’s eight lives too many! All You've Gotta Do Is Give! That’s why this year we’re launching Lifeline for Lifeline. We’re not asking you to wear a silly hat, bring your pony to work or do a handstand in yoga pants – all you gotta do is give so that together we can save more Australian lives, like Tanya’s.   Tanya struggled for years with depression, anxiety, obsessive behaviours. One night at just 20 years old, feeling completely overwhelmed and having suicidal thoughts – Tanya called Lifeline – it was the most important call she ever made. Tanya was reminded there is always hope. She remembers feeling like her life had a purpose and no matter how dark it seems there is always a reason to live.
