Not an easy thing to do and there is the gigantic Westfield Mount Druitt signs that promote the shopping complex. My gut feeling is, the sign may have to move fractionally, to make it easier for pedestrians after they leave the kerb, after exiting the pedestrian crossing walk way/access way. Now that may present a bit of a cost to Westfield Mount Druitt, but that cost should not be burned to their customers in the centre as this should have been considered, when the sign was first planned on that site, allowing for growth in the area.
Make your own opinion:
The word is plans are finalised by NSW RMS, which I hope is placing consideration on the continuance of the walkway/ access way/ foot path straight to the Westfield Mount Druitt North shopping complex entrance. They just can't stick in a place in front of the Westfield sign. There has to be a bit of engineering common sense. No Cutting corners.
