I suppose I was just responding positively towards the Blacktown City Council Budget as a publish post and now understand that Blacktown City Council has accepted the response as consideration in finalising Council's plans for the oncoming year.
Personally, budgets speak for themselves and whilst the community is invited to make submissions, the test to the proposed budget is when the final actions happen towards the end of the budget financial year. The budget has been placed out to the public, which I am pleased about and the response in interest from both community and business is tremendous. We as community should take interest in how our Local government collects and spends our funds. Well done to Blacktown City Council, for showcasing it.
The adoption of Council's Financial Plans will be adopted at the Council Meeting of 28th June 2017 at 6.30pm.
