More Dumping Of Rubbish Hythe Street, Mount Druitt

It appears that community members like dumping rubbish anywhere around the community and this costs thousands of dollars for Council to attend too and then these costs maybe transferred to increased rates in years to come. So who suffers: the community and also ratepayers.

Although Council has regular clean up patrols within mount Druitt and the North of Mount Druitt, it is quite disgusting  to see this happen.  All it take is a quick phone call to Blacktown City Council, to organise a Council clean up.

My understanding (and I maybe wrong), is that it could be tenants leaving the area on a last minute, moving to another new destination and they do not want to be seen as dumping rubbish in front of of their property, so they dump it in front of  Parks/Reserves and let others worry about. My suggestion to Blacktown City Council, is to place "Illegal dumping of Rubbish signs" at the southern end junction of  Hythe Street and Earl Streets and made the Law enforceable  by Officers of Council and NSW Environment Protect Authority.

Furthermore, where rubbish is dumped in front of  Town House Lots/Unit lots  have fines imposed to their Property Managers and then they can offload these  costs to the tenants/occupants responsible if caught. I believe the current laws  make it difficult for Officer s of Blacktown City Council to impose fines as the culprits are mostly not caught. Something for people to think about!

Then and only then will people be most  caring of their own dumped rubish.
