So, why am I posting a story on this? To increase our audience, to gain more interaction, to get the message out into the community, to learn and to spread the 'good words' of our Mount Druitt area, to promote good stories, good people, good local groups, local events, to get ideas for improvements, to get the 'for' and 'against' thoughts and finally, reach out to all who need in our community that want to know what is happening.If we didn't have internet or personal computers, if we didn't have newspapers, television or radio then we would be left communicating to each other by talking to each neighbour or placing notices on bulletin boards. The message sent from the first person will not end up being received to the 5,000th community member as it started: words will change, sentences may be different, expressions will be seen different and interpretations will be made different.
So 'whyilovemountdruitt' Face Book Group has so far 86 members, there are other local community groups have have thousands and they should applauded for reaching these levels. I would like to extend membership of this Face Book Group Page to the community, come and join. Come and be in this community page, to keep conversations going that ideas may be created, suggestions may be accepted and upload pictures of areas of improvement: leaving details of place of interest advising of ways to get improvement and what is required.
