The second issue is at the end of Moresby heading out of Mount Druitt joining onto Gasmatta Crescent Whalan, there is the patch of land the council is selling in the middle of the road. This used to be the NSW Department of housing office, which later closed down.
It is difficult for most of the bus drivers to maneuver this street, heading to Mount Druitt, especially when there are parked cars and there is limited width for a bus to drive past. The left above picture is taken from the Gasmatta Crescent angel and the left side is where the bus driver has to try to get around.
It is suggested by Margaret-Ann Dodd from the Whalan community, that this lad could be made to widen the road and make it more maneuverable for the bus drivers to get through. We will seek response from Blacktown City Council on these 2 issues. If it helps the community, why not?
Personally, I don't think anyone would purchase the land in the middle of the road and build a a private property residence to live on!
