Community Members Using Streets As Dumping Grounds - What Can We Do?

Around North Mount Druitt in various streets that I walk around in, people tend to dump personal furnishing/ belongings in  various places and Blacktown City Council does an excellent job to clean these streets.

Although dumping  not required items on footpaths, creates unhygienic health and safety issues which really any community members need to do, is leave the streets as respectable and clean as you would at your own home!

What I would like to suggest to Blacktown City Council, in the corner of Earl Street and Hythe Streets Mount Druitt or similar - signs for dumping of rubbish and its fines be put into place and if caught dumping , this can not just be a way to keep the community clean, but to provide possible revenue to Council.

At this stage if  anyone see any rubbish on any streets, that need to be addressed and removed, contact us via our home page  e-mail and send a picture in, with a description of where it is. We will refer to Council to attend to it, making it an improved community.
