Plumpton Market Place Has Got The Right Idea With Pedestrian Access Car Parks

So after many years, I finally noticed what is needed in all shopping centres which allows pedestrians to walk from their  car space in the car park directly and safely to the Shopping centre is a clear walkway between parked cars. You will notice that it leads to a pedestrian crossing, for access to the shopping centre

Image result for Plumpton MarketplaceLike everything there is 'fors' and 'against' for this idea, yet when all weighed out, the 'fors' should have it. The 'againsts', in this idea is the use of more land, slight loss of car park spaces and may cost the owners more money to  provide this infrastructure. The 'fors' for providing this infrastructure is most importantly and primarily health and safety for the consumers/ shoppers, who are entering or exiting the shopping centre. To me, the saving a life is cost worth spending on and is a gigantic 'Yes' for me.

Maybe, Westfield Mount could consider this type of options for future planning.
