Legal Practical Suggestions - Falzon Legal

I will be providing information from a Law Firm, which is based outside the  area. I know Paul Falzon, from my Advocacy towards public transport (Only) days.  I have his permission to inform the  community of matters of importance. I do hope you enjoy it and should you wish to discuss with Paul Falzon, mention that you  had seen this article from this website and I'm sure his legal Firm will assist you!

Jo and Lynn, are current final year social work students undertaking a placement at Falzon Legal and are able to support clients in crisis and assist. Jo & Lynn are meeting with local community services in the St. George and Canterbury local government to compile a database which will be provide services targeting the elderly and frail aged, people with disabilities as well as young people, and families.

At Falzon Legal, we believe our point of difference is our client centered approach. Often clients have a problem that requires complementary non-legal services, such as Centrelink applications, counseling for domestic violence, or access to aged care in home packages, such as respite or domestic assistance.

Jo and Lynn have visited 10 several local services and have made inroads into understanding the often fragment local community services system to unlock local support for our clients when they need it most. One of the practical outcomes from the placement will be to meet local services on offer and to compile a referral directory, which will be placed on our website.

Paul Falzon, says “We offer free half hour consultations to the community organisations and their clients. If we cannot we refer them to local services and agencies who can. We try to ensure that people don’t fall through the gaps”.
