Local Government Week - Plant Give Away - 8th August 2015

Local Government week is a celebration of what local governments around NSW do and also is a window of opportunity to understand how and what you local Council is doing.

2015 Theme

This year's theme 'Active All Areas' reflects the need for councils to engage with various communities which may differ by age, culture and race. It also reflects the need for councils to ensure those communities have physical accessibility and support. This links to the Disability Inclusion Action Plans that all councils are required to develop. The date to celebrate is between 3rd to 9th August 2015.

Our Local Government does part take in activities during the week  and in Mount Druitt there is a plant give away they Thursday 8th August 2015, 9am-2pm at Mount Druitt Town Square. There is one problem with this: for day time workers, you don't have an opportunity to receive one, unless some one can pick one up for you on your behalf..
