Well today is the 1st anniversary of 'whyilovemountdruitt', which originally was ''whatiloveaboutmountdruitt'! So what has happened and where do we go from here?

Results through local Press: promotion of the Opal electronic ticketing system - St Marys- Mount Druitt Star and Cycling issues and improvement required - Mount Druitt-St Marys Standard.
Results from Stake holders: local Blacktown City Councillors raising improvements for issues at Council Meetings, Council Officers quickly resolving issues, Mayoral response to underpasses at Whalan, currently 2 candidates for Mount Druitt's 'whyilovemountdruitt' - great response so far!
Sparking interest from the community: pockets of the community submitting photos and ideas for improvements within Mount Druitt, community is now aware of this blogspot and are responding. Great feedback from community organisations! Blacktown City Brass Band's popularity on uploading their songs on Youtube - 21 songs uploaded so far!
From here, we continue with what we are doing getting and inspiring stake holders to make 'Mount Druitt' a great place to live in so each and every person has that wonderful community pride.
