Well, here is a wonderful suggestion from Ron, 'whyilovemountdruitt' Face Book Group, which is a friendly reminder for this hot summer season to all of our wonderful community members. This could occur usually in this time of the year, so be mindful of this, if and when it happens. It is all about snakes, you may not believe Mount Druitt has them.

"Please be alert with pets. This is the most active season for snakes and
your pets will try their best to protect you. Mount Druitt does have
snakes and if a mouse can get in to your house so can a snake. Should
this happen , leave the house and ring 000 for professional help."
