Pacifing Vision Fundraising Night!

We announce earlier in the year a charity organisation that provides financial support to pacific island countries for example Fiji Islands that suffer from mother's nature cyclones and  torrential storms. Also assisting the poor and needy within the pacific islands. They are called 'Pacific Vision' started by the President, Bal Chrishna.

What I have since discovered is that they also assist local organisations like the NSW Rural Fire Service.

Pacific Vision  holds an annual fundraising l dinner/show night inclusive of raffles and lucky door prizes.

The night was opened by Councillor Jess Diaz from Blacktown City Council. Jess is very supportive towards local community groups and is proud to support 'Pacific Vision'.

The venue was St Marys Memorial Hall and is was well attended from communities coming from all backgrounds. The entertainment provided  was from male and female singers of Indian traditional and older type songs, Indian traditional female dancers and Michael Jackson Action.

Altogether, for a non-alcoholic event, it was well worth it, seeing local talent at heir best, matching India's overseas musicians and singers. If you have ever seen an Indian movie - there is always song after song and music not to be forgotten! A lot of these Indian movies of old musicals like 'Sound of Music, Mame, Mary Poppins, Fidler on the roof and many more . It is a shame that Hollywood and what I call *'Aussiewood' movies are not all musicals.

Any way check out here for Pacific Vision Website!

*'Aussiewood' is my nickname for Australia's Movie Industry
