Mount Druitt Could Be A Major Hub For Western Sydney Arts & Crafts!

Blacktown has an Arts Centre, why not  Mount Druitt have an Art and Craft Centre?

Artwork and Craftwork carried by local artists could be placed on show for the entire community. Showing of local talent can be good for the community for many reasons and catering for this  will provide another venue for the local and wider community of Mount Druitt to be entertained.  Blacktown City Council could possibly fund such venue and event throughout each year. A site in the town/hub of Mount Druitt could be located, prepared by engineers, with environmental and community feedback.

If any local artwork or craftwork is shown to the general public and sold- 10 percent (for example) of sales could be put back to the Arts and Craft Centre reducing costs to be raised by Council. Who knows maybe artwork or craftwork from local could end up to be famous.

It might even cover artists and craft people from all over the Greater Western Sydney, beside Mount Druitt and wider communities.

It puts money in people's pocket that may not be fully employed, entertainment to the community,  and a great liking for work of local art and craft. Something that Council could think about!
