Candidates have been working hard canvassing votes, speaking to various community groups and organisations an constituents to lobby for votes.
In both the NSW State Seats of Londonderry and Mount Druitt, there will be elected a new representative from each electorate.
Some Stats for you:
Prior to last election in 2011, Londonderry was the 38th most Labor Party Held seat as 'Fairly Safe' with a swing required of 6.9%. Post 2011 election, Londonderry is 51st most Liberal/National Party held seat as 'Safe'' with a swing required of 12.3%.
Prior to last election in 2011, Mount Druitt was the 7th most Labor Party held seat as 'Very Safe' with a swing required of 25.4%. Post 2011 election, Mount Druitt is 8th most Labor Party held seat as 'Fairly Safe' with a swing required of 6.7%
So we shall see how the true public vote tomorrow!

My Passion Is Public Transport and The St Marys Mount Druitt Star - Gets Responses From Londonderry, Mount Druitt and Mulgoa State Candidates!
Everyone one knows from local community members, local Blacktown City Councillors and Mayors and Transport Officers of Council, state politicians, Federal politicians that my passion is originally 'public transport' and is has gown to now 'Improvements within our local community!'

Make Your Vote Count At The NSW Election - Especially Mount Druitt & Lobonderry State Seats!
As we live in a democratic society, we individually have a democratic right to cast a vote to your preferred candidate primarily. Informal votes can be leaving no indication of of your important vote, making comments without voting on all placing number one on all candidates boxes ballot paper. They are waisted votes.
There is that typical phrase, 'My vote won't count as it is a safe seat!' Incorrect, in my books, 'A seat is never safe until it is won!'
There are a lot of variables that can make a safe seat change hand: new people moving into the area, people moved out, young voting for the first time, a predominate Member of government member retires, there personal vote only loss when he or she retires and won't for that party, the new candidate may not be able to be acceptable to replace the former strong member because of the 'unknown factor' - same with other candidate.
Personally, I would like to see that once a candidate is elected, a Shadow Member from the next best candidate, stands up to and with the elected member for the next 4 years, keep them on their toes!
1 vote does count, each vote counts and remember you could be proud of electing a candidate you voted for, who is the member for your seat!

I met Pru Car Labor Candidate For NSW Seat Of Londonderry At Mount Druitt Bus Interchange!
Today, I met briefly Labor Party candidate for Londonderry, at the oncoming NSW State Elections, Pru Car. Prue has always been pleasant to speak too, for the two short moments I have had discussions with her.
We both agreed that her Electorate of Londonderry, that she is running for is a larger electorate to canvass votes than Mount Druitt is. It has parts of Penrith, Richmond, Wilberforce, Grossvale and Mount Druitt, 350 square kilometres, whereas Mount Druitt Electorate has 43 square kilometres.
I checked with Prue Car, if she was placing Labor Party Posters on electricity poles, she replied, 'We all have to be fair to each other!'
That is a fair comment, even playing field this represents.
I must admit one of her supporters was excited and said, 'Oh that the blogger from 'whyilovemountdruitt!' It's funny words get around.
By the way it appears she is more photographic then myself!

'VoteCompass' - ABC's Way OF Findning Which Party You Tend To Lean Towards Based On Speicfic Questions!
ABCs website has had 'Votecompass', since the last Federal Election (that I can recall). This is a good chance for swinging votes to see how they will vote in the up and coming NSW State Election. This might be good for swinging voters in Mount Druitt. Even candidates should try it yourselves!

Recently, I have received
the sixth response from either NSW Mount Druitt and Londonderry States
seats and the second response from the seat of Londonderry in the
upcoming NSW State Elections to be held on 28th March 2015, telling the
community,'Why I Love Mount Druitt'!
This is something important to all community members that need to know, how each candidate feels about the area they represent. This will give people of the community a chance to have a clearer and better picture or mind as to who they will vote for.

of Londonderry. Here is Bernard's 'Why I Love Mount Druitt":
“A
quick look at my surname will tell the residents of Mount Druitt and
its neighbouring suburbs that my father was not on the First Fleet.
I am both proud and privileged to say my father came to this great country, like so many of the people of Mount Druitt, in search of a better life for himself and his family.
Dad was as tough as old boots, spoke broken English and worked two jobs to make ends meet.
My mother was a nurse, and together with my father they raised four children in a three bedroom fibro home in Smithfield.
Unfortunately my mother died when I was 16 and I was left to raise three children for the next six years.
It was a tough time, but from challenges come victories.
It was these basic, yet important traits, that I have lived my entire life by, and together with my wife of 35 years we have raised our three children with pride, respect and love.
And it is these characteristics why I admire and respect the people of Mount Druitt.
Over the last six months I have spoken with locals about everything from their hopes for our area to who cuts my hair.
It has been important to hear firsthand how the people of Whalan, Emerton, Lethbridge Park, Willmot and Mount Druitt deal with their day to day issues.
Always with passion in their voice, and always with advice on how things can be better.
What I find amazing is that politically the region has always been Labor heartland.
Yet during 16 years of Government between 1995 and 2011 the ALP repaid your support and loyalty with contempt and hollow promises.
The people of Tregear, Willmot, Whalan, Lethbridge Park, Emerton and Mt Druitt deserve much better.
In fact they deserve nothing less than an honest voice in the NSW Government.
The Baird Government’s investment in local education in Western Sydney is at an all time high, with Whalan, Emerton Public, Lethbridge Park, Mount Druitt, Tregear, and Willmot Public Schools receiving a collective increase in RAM funding of nearly $650,000.
On the health front Blacktown and Mount Druitt hospitals are being rebuilt at a cost of $322 million.
This is real money not Labor promises.
This is the Baird Government showing its respect and belief in the people of Mount Druitt and neighbouring suburbs.
Our plan for the next four years is a simple one.
By renting the poles and wires the Baird Government will be able to reinvest your $20,000,000 into the vital areas of our community, rather than having it planted on the footpath doing sweet bugger all.
We will invest even more money into local schools, even more money into health, build vital infrastructure, and most importantly create jobs for the people of Western Sydney.
Why do I love the people of Mount Druitt?
Because we believe in who we are.
If I am elected on March 28 as the Member for Londonderry I won’t be able to solve every problem.
But rest assured for the people I represent I will look to make every day a better one than the previous day.

Prue Car- Labor Party Candidate For Londonderry - 'Whyilovemountdruitt'
Today, I have received the third response from either NSW Mount Druitt and Londonderry States seats and the very first response from the seat of Londonderry in the upcoming NSW State Elections to be held on 28th March 2015, telling the community,'Why I Love Mount Druitt'!

Councillor Prue Car is a resident of NSW State seat of Londonderry and is also now the preselected Labor Party Candidate for the NSW seat of Londonderry. Here is Prue's 'Why I Love Mount Druitt":
"The Mt Druitt area
is such a diverse and exciting community. We are home to people from all walks of life who are proud to call Western Sydney home.
The one thing I love about our area is the pride people have in their community. I have met so many people who care deeply about ensuring that we get our fair share in Western Sydney, and this inspires me to fight for our area.
It's the people in
our community that make it truly great. It's our community members and
leaders that I work with every day to make sure we have the best
possible outcomes that the Mt Druitt area deserves.
For
me, as the Labor candidate for Londonderry, I have been
very honoured to meet thousands of residents in Tregear, Willmot,
Whalan, Lethbridge
Park and Emmerton.
When I am out door
knocking I have had many residents say to me that they are sick of the

I am sick of the
Liberals taking our area for granted, and seeing Western Sydney left
behind. Our area deserves better than cuts and privatisation, which is
all the Liberals have to offer.
My commitment as the Labor Candidate for Londonderry is that if I am elected on March 28, I will always fight for our
area, and stand up for Western Sydney in the NSW Parliament.

I Met Prue Car - NSW Labor Candidate For The Seat Of Londonderry - Have You?
This morning I met Prue Car, NSW Labor Party candidate for the seat of Londonderry at the bottom of the escalators at Mount Druitt Bus Interchange. I only had a brief encounter with her as I was running (or in my case) walking late!She advised she has heard about myself and I jokingly asked, 'In a bad way?' She replied and said, 'No'.
She confirmed she will be providing her 'whyilovemountdruitt' to share around and to the community, shortly.
So far we have Councillor Edmond Atalla, NSW State Labor Party candidate for Mount Druitt, who has responded, so quickly.
