There are 3 planned for Sydney. 1 was rejected (Eastern Creek) but is being appealed. 2nd one is proposed at Wallgrove Rd tip. And a 3rd one for Matraville.
A 4th one is being proposed for Lithgow.

I personally do not have an issue with this incinerator proceeding ahead, I have lived near Minchinbury sine the 1970's, not far from the landfill site. I have been used to the smell etc from there since I moved in, I don't see how an incinerator will affect my life in anyway after doing research, I think there are a lot of pretentious individuals around that love complaining about any topic that comes up, I am over them, especially how they smother local social media groups with demands to sign a petition. My life is too busy to worry about trivial matters.
