So now, Premier Galdys Berejiklian has been elected as the first woman to be elected as a leader of New South Wales and has a majority to lead the government. We also congratulate Gladys and her team on the hard fought win and hope that we get continued improvements within and around Mount Druitt, through our local members within the next 4 years.

These figures are produced by the ABC NSW election results:

 76.9% counted,
0 Seat in doubt
Coalition
48seats won
Labor
36seats won
Others
9seats won

From the other seats, we have 3 Independents, 3 Greens and Shooters, Fisheries and Farmers Party members.

Height Difference with Waratah Trains To Platform - Mount Druitt Commuters Improvement Group Inc.

Do do you have difficulty stepping on/off Waratah Trains, within the Sydney Trains area? Did you realise that there is a height difference on these trains?

Mount Druitt Commuters Improvement Group Inc. are  advocating for warning signs, announces on stations and by guards. Now they are response from NSW Minister of Transport, after raising it with  former NSW Transport Minister, Gladys Berejiklian and NSW Parliamentary Secretary for Transport, Ray Williams. This letter has been sent to our local State Member of NSW Parliament for Mount Druitt, Hon. Edmond Atalla.

I also recommend that the same letter be sent to NSW State of Member of Londonderry as well, Hon. Prue car as well.

On Year On For NSW Member of Londonderry (Part of Mount Druitt) - 27/3/2016 Hon Prue Car

Coming up  for one years public service to part of Mount Druitt community on the 27th March 2016, in NSW Member for Londonderry, Hon. Prue Car.

The Mount Druitt state seat takes up approximately 85 percent of all of Mount Druitt and surrounding suburbs. Londonderry takes up the rest. A few years ago, I was told by a prominent local Labor Party Member that the suburbs of Whalan, Emerton, Tregear and Willmot (previously), were placed into to boost up Labor votes in the seat of Londonderry. Willmot has returned to Mount Druitt (last election) and the rest might follow suit in time.

Although, I haven't seen much work that Prue Car has done so far, I have heard she meets in the Wilmott Hub and does meet residents in Tregear and Whalan and worked on Daffodil Day in July last year.

So as a year  is coming up, we will ask her of how she reflects on the last year, from her day of being elected: the achievements, up and downs, etc.

NSW Government News - More Jobs For Western Sydney - NDIS Scheme Is Rolled Out Across!

NSW Government claims 3,300 new jobs within Western Sydney once the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is rolled out.

This is from here on that our local State Members for Mount Druitt, Hon. Edmond Atalla and Londonderry, Hon. Prue Car should chase this up and see how the many of the 3,300 new jobs will be allocated to their electorates and especially within Mount Druitt.
