To my understanding these carriages were made in China and I understand that all Sydney Train Stations have different platform heights. Announcements should be made to commuters whilst getting on board, "Watch your step"!

Height Difference with Waratah Trains To Platform - Mount Druitt Commuters Improvement Group Inc.
Do do you have difficulty stepping on/off Waratah Trains, within the Sydney Trains area? Did you realise that there is a height difference on these trains?
Mount Druitt Commuters Improvement Group Inc. are advocating for warning signs, announces on stations and by guards. Now they are response from NSW Minister of Transport, after raising it with former NSW Transport Minister, Gladys Berejiklian and NSW Parliamentary Secretary for Transport, Ray Williams. This letter has been sent to our local State Member of NSW Parliament for Mount Druitt, Hon. Edmond Atalla.

I also recommend that the same letter be sent to NSW State of Member of Londonderry as well, Hon. Prue car as well.
