Western Sydney Community Forum - Western Sydney/Nepean Regional Community Care Leaders Mixer

At the last Leaders’ Mixer, the strategic planning session identified staff training as one of the key priorities for ensuring quality of service and staff retention. The ability to offer staff opportunities towards a career pathway is essential with high staff turnover rates identified as a key issue in Build Beyond Bricks.

WSCF is inviting all CEO’s, managers and leaders of aged care and disability services in Western Sydney and Nepean to be a part of the conversation in determining what the next steps will be.

Thursday 20 June 2019
10:00am to 12:00pm
Nirimba Room, Blacktown City Council

The session will feature:
  • Presentation from guest speaker, Glen Gallagher, Industry NSW Manager for Training Services on training and education opportunities specific to the ageing and disability sector in partnership with WSCF.

  • Facilitated consultation by WSCF to identify the exact areas of work in the sector that would benefit the most from this opportunity.
