One More Traffic Light Needs Pedestrian Walk Way Upgrade - Carlisle Avenue Mount Druitt!

We previously mentioned of  NSW Roads and Maritime Services of an approval of a much needed Pedestrian walk way at the traffic lights outside the Westfield Mount Druitt entrance. Click here for details

I have realised that there is an additional traffic light that requires a pedestrian walk way upgrade. While Council and NSW RMS have approved one, they might as well do the same for the other major traffice light intersections within Mount Druitt. Trhis is at the corner of Carlisle and Kurrajong Avenues Mount Druitt, entrance to Westfield Mount Druitt.

This is obviously an important intersection that needs that additional safety measures to prevent potential pedestrians, walking across this mostly dangerous intersection. An much needed pedestrian access way/walk way is certainly required.

Let's hope that Blacktown City Council Traffic area agree with the community and start the process going!

You will note that the northern part of the intersection is where the require pedestrian access is required.
