Town House Properties Need "Stop" Sign, Before Existing Into Streets......

I have seen that there are blocks and lots of Town Houses being built already existing and being  built or under construction, with driveways for vehicle to enter and exit properties. One thing I noticed (as it happened to me yesterday), was that drivers in cars exiting these driveways can be careless and have a blindspot from sighting walking pedestrians.

This presents a potential  health and safety risk for  pedestrians, everyday, all around Mount, within Sydney, New South Wales and Australia.  I now suggest that the preventative measures be looked at to make it, even a little bit safer for pedestrians from now on.

I recommend  clearly marked 'Stop'  signs be installed  before the driveway entrance to footpaths as one preventative measure. This is self-explanatory and if these signs are not being adhered too, the regular fines may apply.

Further, I  recommend circular mirrors that capture traffic coming from left and right sides of the road,  giving the  driver a better understanding of  pedestrian traffic. This can be installed on a steel poll or secured on a wooden poll and tested before using.

So, I now ask  Blacktown City Council to lobby  NSW  State Governments to introduce these  safety measures for the  public

Mount Druitt Suburbs And Surrounding Suburbs Propertry Sales Inceases Compared For 1 Year - Provided By Sydney Domain

Property prices have been steadily growing in the past year within Mount Druitt and surrounding suburbs. A lot of current home owners may not take interest but they would be aware that  there are plenty of sales in these suburbs and also you can tell  by the amount of Real Estate Agents requiring properties for sale.

There is a need for home buyers, with medium to low incomes purchase properties which are in the lower end of the market, has great access to schools, shops, public transport and roads. Mount Druitt and surrounding suburbs has all these ticks.

For this is the main reason that I started this blogspot, 'Whyilovemountdruitt'. I had seen Channel News in December 2013, Mount Druitt & Whalan were announced as 'Property Hot Spots'. My immediate thoughts were that for this to happen, you also need to ensure that all community infrastructure was in place and improved. That Stake holders do not neglect improvements that need to be done changing the image of the area that is usually portrayed by the wider press (not the local press).

I also have a 'Bee in my bonnet' as to why a large private sector shopping center management would knock back a Free Shuttle Bus looping around the business hub of Mount Druitt, over 3 thousand signatures obtained by Mount Druitt Commuters Improvement Group Inc and acceptance by the local business! This is and was a great improvement idea that would have  placed a lot of community pride within the area.

So here are the increases for suburbs in Mount Druitt suburbs houses since the last year, only suburbs that had  40 or more property sold are in these results provided by  Sydney Domain

Gates Required For Blocks of Town Houses/Duplex Properties!

I have received some requests from local community members of security suggestion regarding living in blocks of town houses/duplexes in Mount Druitt and surrounding suburbs.

With private individual dwelling in Mount Druitt an overwhelming majority of properties have gates and fences, providing security and privacy to these residents.

The question being asked is why doesn't Council approve gates for security in  Town Housing blocks/ Duplexes within Mount Druitt providing a safer community? Yes there are  sides to this question and debate and I think this should referred  as a proposal to the Blacktown Local Environmental Plan 2013.

What do you think?
