A letter shared to our community:

Who in your community deserves to be recognised and celebrated?

Dear John,

I am touching base to tell you about our exciting community recognition and grants program, Westfield Local Heroes, which aims to connect and enrich our local communities. If you haven't already, please check out the video on Westfield Local Heroes <https://www.westfield.com.au/local-heroes>.

The program discovers and celebrates individuals who promote social wellbeing and/or harmony in our communities through their work, across one or more of the three social values of family, youth opportunity and inclusion.
Westfield Local Heroes are nominated and voted for by their community, with three finalists per Westfield centre each awarded a $10,000 grant to support their affiliated organisation's work or activities.

The program is open to staff, volunteers, members or agents of organisations in all sectors including business, government, education, sports, welfare, community and not-for-profit.

This would be a fantastic program for you to nominate those valuable <staff, members, volunteers>, who contribute so much to the local community.

Nominations are open from 19 March to 8 April 2019. In the Program Pack Click here for details, we have included the questions you will be asked in the online nomination so you can start preparing applications now and be ready to go when the nomination portal opens on 19 March.

We also invite you to share the Program Pack with your personal and professional contacts and encourage them to also participate.

If you have any questions please feel free to let me know or visit westfield.com.au/local-heroes (for AU) or westfield.co.nz/local-heroes (for NZ).

Thanks,

Michael Beverly
