Mount Druitt Community Advocate/Representative On Footy Show 25th June 2015

Image result for channel 9 footy showI have just been advised that there is someone that represents our area and stands up as a strong advocate for the area that will be seen on the Channel 9 Footy Show tomorrow night.

I really can't tell you who he is as yet but I can give you some clues. This person contacts people, politicians, organisations and businesses to get improves for the area. He also was a Chairperson of a local Bus Group turned to Commuter Group, that got 3 major bus services  back in our area. He also provided feed back to the NSW Long Term Transport Master Plan and to the Blacktown Integrated Transport Plan. He has attended the last 5 years of Blacktown City Council Transport Forums. He keeps politicians aware of what is happening in all levels of government. He has been interviewed by Dr David Bishell, from Australian National University on Sydney Commuting project/ book that is being completed.

Beau Ryan
He talks to people on the street and has fun doing so. He is a local blogger seeking community improvements for the area. If you can not guess by now, my suggestion is to view the footy show tomorrow on Channel 9 at 8.30pm and watch the Beau Ryan Segment! Let me know if you know who it is?

Australia Post Mount Druitt Great ID or Idea!

So the other day I had to pick up my renewed passport and use my Drivers Licence as an ID. Well, the young lady sold myself the idea that with Australian Post, you will not need to bring your Drivers Licence or any other similar form of ID to pick up parcels or envelopes anymore. You can pick and sign the application for 'MyPost', at your nearest Post Office. You you will receive a card in the mail then be able to pickup all mail and parcels, without showing any further ID, then using your Mypost Card.

The same card may be given to someone else to pick up mail or parcels at Australian Post, using your MyPost Card.

So these means ID we all carry around. I also believe that all your receipts paid at Australia Post using MyPost will be sent automatically to you MyPost Account for records and viewing. These are 'Great Ideas'! Maybe you should try it. The young lady at Australia Post that served myself, did a good job.
