Willmot Bus Stops Clossures Can Be Prevented by Extrernal Cameras On Busways Buses.

So when we refer to the NSW Governments decision to close 2 bus stops at Willmot, just over a month ago, it came to myself a suggestion that may bring a bit of light into this subject and then ask questions.

So it appears as advised by a local community member that  Penrith Police have caught missile/rock thrower(s) in Penrith and they have been charged. It is lead to believe, it was the external videos cameras on a bus that have caught the missile/rock thrower(s).

The question rises, if that is the case, the same Busways buses travel in and around Mount Druitt, around Willmot and they carry external cameras. I would then say that Busways may have video evidence of anti-social issues, where the bus stops have closed at Wilmott. Then by providing this evidence to the NSW Police any person(s) involved can be charged and bus stops re-opened. How is that not happening, now?

2 Bus Stops Closed At Wilmot - Anti-social behaviours

What is our world coming too? I have been a staunch public transport advocate  and have always tried  to educate our wonderful community how we do not want anti-social behaviours to stop any bus services.

It has come to a point where Busways bus drivers are at risk everytime they are at a wheel of a bus taking commuter to and from their homes to Mount Druitt. So on Captain Cook Drive, Wilmot bus stops 2770334 and 2770362 have been closed for Bus driver safety reasons otherwise known as 'anti-social reasons'.This is a tempoary clossure which started a s from 29th March 2017.

This is a shock to the local Wilmot community that has had this happen to them. I have spoken to a community member from Wilmot and told people know who is involved in these crimes and these people don't care of their actions.

I also recently spoke to a  Busways bus driver and he said it has been happening at that spot for a while and Police know who they are as well.

Let's hope these people understand the disruption to bus services now happening in Wilmott.
