Here Is A Couple Cycling Posts Pulled Out Again

It is  amazing how we discuss this type of behaviour  and how it is not required within our community.

How can we teach our young that to be good and do good things means we have a good community. Yet to be proud of destructing public property could mean frustion from within our community. It could also be a 'peer group' pressure that the individual needs to outshine the others. But is it outshining others? Is it self-pride in doing this?

It is just a simple simple cycle sign indicating it is a cycle way, which is needed by both cyclists and pedestrians. No matter how much we search for answers as to why this was done, it will not solve the immediate issue.

There are many things that we can associate with this anti-social behaviour, yet we do not realise how deep down these people are and most probably wouldn't do it to their own property, one would hope.

All we ask for is for who ever did this, to me, should be more considetate as it is much of a sign for yourself as it is a sign for our general commumity.

And here is another Cycle sign in the corner or Earl and Hythe Streets, Mount Druitt that will to be attended too as well as it is lose and uprooted from the ground

We hope that Blacktown  City Council can fix these signs as soon as possible.

Cylcing Sign Post - Needs Replacing At Meacher Street, Mount Druitt

I noticed approximately a week ago a cycling sign post previously  supplied by Blacktown City Council, has been bent and left bent leaning towards the ground.

The sign post is near William Mason Reserve and it is  an important sign to warn motorists, who may not realise that cyclists will cross the road as it is travelling along a shared cycle/pedestrian path.

We hope that this is replaced straight away, as it appears it was a result of an  car accident, if not anti-social behaviours caused  by community members, who don't understand that we all pay for the  replacement costs for signs.

Cycle Way Sign Demounted - Needs Improvement - 2nd Time

It is sad to report this sign has been pulled out of the ground, second time within the last two and half years. Whatever causes people to do this, they probably think it is their strength that over wins the community. The cycling  sign is something that I am proud Blacktown City Council is promoting, around Mount Druitt.

If this continues, we could have less signs and possibly, less shared cycle ways - when we need more shared cycle-ways. If you see this crime happening report this immediately to
