' No Cash' On Busways Buses as from 28th October 2019

From Monday, October 28 Busways’ Western Sydney buses will no longer accept cash payments. Tickets previously purchased from drivers will no longer be available and you’ll need to purchase an Opal card or start using your credit or debit card to tap on and tap off during your Busways journey. You can also use a device linked to one of these cards. Opal cards are available online or over the counter from retailers, including most newsagents, post offices, convenience stores and supermarkets. Senior/Pensioner Opal cards must be ordered online and require proof of entitlement. It is important to remember to separate your cards, so your preferred card is charged.
