The 'Real Electlion'......

The 'Real Election', is something I have been thinking for the last few years. By the sound of it I am hearing loud support for this and it is not  just my ideas. It is probably in the thoughts of most people.

For almost 40 years, I have voted at every Local Council, State & Federal elections. I feel the vote I provide could either change the ward or electorate or even maintain the current Council, State and Federal members election with an increased vote.

Over the years, new governments of the day are reforming (or in my books continuing with governing the business of each day, based on their party's beliefs or community popularity.

Yes, it is true we have Leaders in each level of Government: Mayor & Deputy Mayors of Local Government areas, Chief Ministers & Deputy Chief Ministers of Territories, Premiers & Deputy Premiers and their Ministers of State Governments and finally Prime Minister & Deputy Prime Ministers and their Ministers.
of Federal Government.

As workers, business owners and rate payers, we are all voters that honestly vote with our heart (the one we would like to represent us) and it is amazing to hear when things go sour for some of these politicians, mistrust  and abuse of their  role in government. We lose confidence in them.

Thank God, a large majority of politicians are honest hard working ones. They are making decisions to better our Local, State and Federal areas. Some decisions go against public popularity and then others go with it. I have faith in our current representatives: they do have a hard honest job.

Then we have the duplication processes between each tier of government. They are monsters of  Finance, Treasurers, Education, Health, Roads and Transport for both Federal a States/Territories. Environment.

With State and Local Government areas their is also duplicate areas like Water, Roads, Transport. Planning, Park/Gardens & Reserves & National Parks (Federally)

Bearing in mind, I have published a post on whether our local, State & Federal politicians are well remunerated Click here

We are all comfortable with 3 governments, so I can't see this country change in my life time, from 3 governments to 2. I just wanted to express what was someone else's thoughts and support the idea. So, there is more than one person that agrees with  this post.
