Blacktown City is gearing up to party and today launched a special website for next month’s Blacktown City Festival.

For the first time the Medieval Fayre will be complimented by a full-dress medieval banquet, where guests are invited to come dressed in theme to dine on medieval food and drink.
James Morrison’s Quintet headlines a Gala Show to kick off the festival, with a special concert that will leave the audience serenaded by a sheer brilliance of jazz music.

For festival goers to navigate through the huge line-up of events, Blacktown City Council has launched a festival website featuring the entire program and to make booking easier and simpler.

Blacktown City Mayor Stephen Bali MP said the 2018 Blacktown City Festival will be the City’s best.

“As well as the Medieval Fayre and Streets Alive parade, there will be combat displays, roving entertainment, bird shows and an international jousting competition which includes competitors from all around the world,” Mayor Bali said.

“There’ll also be events for the kids, music for the ears, treats for your taste buds and enough laughs to make you sore.”
“The website is designed to be an easy point of access for people to browse, register for events and purchase tickets.”
Catering to all ages, the festival also features performances by Sesame Street, PJ Masks and The Smurfs; while sugar lovers get to tantalise their taste buds with the Sweet Indulgence desert festival, featuring some of Sydney’s best dessert vendors.

Over a spectacular weekend, the Blacktown City Medieval Fayre will bring an expected 80,000 people to the City to experience the excitement of living history at its best.
