WSROC Offering Our Community To Complete Short Survey On M4 Toll

An invitation has  been provided to our open community, in relation to the charging of tolls on  the M4. Western Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils is running a short survey, seeking community feedback on the widened M4 toll.

Thousands of motorists from Western Sydney, inclusive of Mount Druitt and surrounding suburbs would be using the M4 toll and having increased costs for their private expenses or in running businesses.

When I saw the tolls going free many, many years ago, I first thought, 'Great, no more tolls'. We have a current State Government working on new connecting roads and trains infrastructure, yet instead of  taking funds from current income nests,  it is 'pay as you go extra'.

This will be a good time to share your thoughts, so that WSROC, can present a strong case to our NSW Government  from themselves and through local NSW State Representatives, within WSROC that  we do not deserve to be charged more Tolls.

Community Draft Plans - Do You Know What That Means For Your Future? - Wesrtern Sydney Community Forum

                                                                                                                                                                                                        I am very pleased to see Western Sydney Community Forum recently actively involved in the growth plans of Western Sydney. It is it  encouraging to too with the involvement of Wesroc a  Community Forum is being conducted.

The Greater Sydney Commission's draft District Plans have renewed debates on what communities in Western Sydney need now and into the future.

Western Sydney Regional Organisations of Council (WSROC) and Western Sydney Community Forum are hosting a forum to discuss and shape solutions on Western Sydney's liveability needs and ensure that people in our communities are included.

A limited number of additional spaces have now been released to join the forum. Hear from the Social Commissioner, Ms Heather Nesbitt, Greater Sydney Commission and Professor Bill Randolf, Director of UNSW's City Future Research Center. Join the open discussion and contribute to a collective response for the Western Sydney region while the public exhibition period is still open.
