Politics aside..... Opinion Polls Are Opinionated...

I am a person that keeps my opinions on how I vote to myself (most of the time), like most of you. I will admit that I have been a 'swinger' in relation to voting at Federal, State and Local Elections. Anyone that asks me how I vote, I will divert the question and respond in a what that makes people people think. The silent majority is where I fit.

I am pleased to announce that I am proud of every Prime Minister since my date of birth day that has government the country. I have lived in electorates that have  had ministers in Government, including Prime Minister (Even though I left the electorates).

I cannot believe that polls before the election did not predict the right result for the Leadership and the Party that won the election. Morgan and News Poll all got it wrong. You know,  polls are something  that are not 100% accurate - there is always an error of accuracy. A margin that can unnecessarily swing voters from one side to the other.

I remember one or two Australian politicians say during an election, 'The Poll that counts in the election is the Poll held on Election Day'! I believe the same and always have.

In my view, Polls are opinionated and that is why they are called, 'OPINION POLLS!'

What Policy Makes You Vote For A Candidate in a Federal Ection - Poll!

What is interesting is what policies make people vote for any candidate in a  Federal Election? Imagine if there was a comment on the voting form 'What was your reason for voting?'

What would we place on there? Love the bloke, help me get a job, I have met him, he elected every year we vote, he must be doing good and I vote on party lines.That is what I call personal preferences for choosing the candidate. Yet a majority of voters make their mind  based on polls, how governments stick to policies when previously elected, how will the opposition pay for these expenditures and whether the government of the day has effected their lives in a positive way.

As each side of politics speak and brings their own point of view, we listen, we assess it, we review it and when we come to the Polling Booth, we will judge the winner. Some voters think just because you are in a safe seat it doesn't matter, your vote will not count. Actually it does count and if it counts for a candidate that lost, do not think bad of it as it reduces the percent that the winner wins by.

So, as we make that decision, there is probably one policy or two that you thought the candidate/party would be good on by policies broadcasted to the general public. This is where we ask you to  poll your vote as to what Policy makes you decide your candidate? So this could send a message to IPART for it's agreed  public transport fare increases.

Rate Edmond Atalla's performance as a State Member For Mount Druitt, for the last year?

This should make Edmond Atalla feel a little bit comfortable and proud representing the State Seat of Mount druitt as no one thinks he has done a poor job.

Our local politicians should  now use this poll to help us get an MRI machine at Mount Druitt Hospital.

This  is where Blacktown City Council should place  more 'illegal dumping signs" with our Mount Druitt area as majority rules here.

Blacktown City Council Officers and Councillors should now consider this issue as the public has voted  for this improvement in majority.
