Major Sydney Train Services Changes on 26th November 2017 Time Table

So, as we have discovered with the new Sydney Trains time tables of 26th November 2017, that Express trains Services over 27 years has increased the amount of train stations by 6 in this period of time. That is one extra train just over every 4 years Click here for previous post.

Now the further disadvantages with the new time tables for 26th November 2017 are disable around the vestibule area of Mount Druitt train station, as follows:

So, this means for dome train stations there will be more waiting for interchange services.

One thing we must compliment the NSW Government is there are 15 minutes services on weekends, which has been overdue for a long time and according to a Sydney Trains spokesperson, there are 3 extra trains services morning and afternoon creating less overcrowding on trains, commuters are able to have  a better chance of reaching empty seats. It is good to hear this.

Busways NEW Time Tables for NSW Bus Region 1 - 28th May 2017

NEW Bus Time extensions affect the Busways 751, which now will include a new bus service to Colebee - which affects Mount Druitt and surrounding areas. The other bus  routes mentioned are from the outer areas of Mount Druitt, but also vitally important. From Sunday 28 May 2017, routes 751, 783, T72 and T74 will be extending to service new growth areas and provide better connections where they are needed.

Western Sydney Route Changes - Sunday 28 May 2017 Bus customers across Western Sydney will benefit from an improved bus network, as several routes will be extending to service new growth areas and provide better connections and more services where they are needed. From Sunday 28 May 2017, routes 751, 783, T72 and T74 will be changing. A summary of the changes is provided in the table below. To view the changes to routes, check the Western Sydney Route Changes Map. Affected route Summary of changes New timetable from Sunday 28 May 751 - Blacktown to Marsden Park via Colebee Route extended along Alderton Dr to service new Greenway Living Estate. 3 new bus stops on Alderton Dr to service new route. Most Route 751 services will now run to and from Marsden Park.    New 751 timetable 783 - Penrith to Jordan Springs Route extended along Sinclair Pde, Flagship Ridge and Greenwood Pkwy. Route will no longer operate via Cullen Ave and Alinta Prm. 13 new bus stops to service new route. 3 bus stops on Cullen Ave (2) and Greenwood Pkwy (1) will no longer be served by 783.     New 783 timetable T72 - Blacktown to Rouse Hill via Quakers Hill Route extended along Alex Ave and Schofields Rd to Rouse Hill Interchange. 6 new bus stops on Alex Ave to service new route. New bus stops are planned to be introduced in the future on Schofields Rd once the Schofields Rd upgrade is completed. New T72 timetable T74 - Blacktown to Riverstone via The Ponds & Schofields Route will change to operate via Hambledon Rd and Riverbank Dr. Route will no longer operate via Ridgeline Dr. 4 new bus stops on Riverbank Dr to service new route. 6 bus stops on Ridgeline Dr will no longer be served by T74. Route 752 will continue to operate on Ridgeline Dr. New bus stops are planned to be introduced in the future on Hambledon Rd once the redevelopment of Hambledon Rd is completed.   New T74 timetable Minor timetable changes To accommodate these route changes, there will be minor amendments to several timetables across the Western Sydney network to improve reliability and on-time running. Busways Bus Drivers Advice For New Time Tables Yesterday!

A bus driver spokesperson has advised that when the time tables commence, there should be Busways representatives at the Bus Interchanges at Penrith, Mount Druitt and Blacktown on the Sunday 29th, explaining to customers the changes and making things run smoothly for drivers.

The spokesperson further advised that bus drivers get the brunt of commuters complaints, when these changes occur and this in itself can slow down journeys.

Another way commuters slow down journeys, is told in this true story that has happened to him: There is a family that has a family, right at the bus stop. One of their small sons waits at the bus stop, until the bus arrives. He then calls his father, who calls for his wife and she calls for her daughters. They reach one by one at the bus stop, then as they all arrive they haven't got the right change! This makes journeys/routes a longer trip as all this took five minutes!
